Infants

Our infant program provides a nurturing, responsive environment where the youngest learners feel safe, loved, and supported. With individualized care routines, gentle sensory experiences, and plenty of opportunities for bonding, our teachers follow each child’s natural rhythm for feeding, sleeping, and play. Through cuddles, songs, tummy time, and early exploration, infants build the foundation for healthy growth and secure attachments that last a lifetime.

Younger Infant Room (0–6 Months)

At this age, care is individualized and follows each baby’s natural rhythms. Teachers provide nurturing, consistent routines while supporting early development.

Sample Daily Flow:

  • Arrival & Greeting – Warm welcome, parent hand-off, morning health check
  • Individual Feeding & Napping – Based on baby’s needs and parent schedule
  • Tummy Time & Floor Play – Gentle exploration, motor skill development, soft toys, mirrors
  • Outdoor Time (Weather Permitting) – Fresh air stroller walks or shaded blanket play
  • Sensory Exploration – Gentle music, texture mats, light play, rattles
  • Individual Care Moments – Diapering, cuddling, singing, one-on-one interaction
  • Departure – Daily notes shared with families about sleep, feeding, and play

Notes: Teachers follow family-provided schedules (feeding intervals, nap times, bottle prep). Emphasis is on comfort, bonding, and sensory-rich experiences.

Older Infant Room (6–12 Months)

Older infants are becoming more active and social, but still need individualized care. This schedule blends responsive routines with gentle group experiences.

Sample Daily Flow:

  • Arrival & Greeting – Family hand-off, transition support
  • Morning Floor Play – Crawling, pull-to-stand activities, cause-and-effect toys
  • Breakfast (for those on solids) – Teachers assist with self-feeding practice
  • Exploration & Sensory Play – Water play, textured objects, peek-a-boo, music
  • Nap Time – Based on individual needs (often mid-morning)
  • Outdoor Time – Stroller walks, shaded play yard, nature observation
  • Lunch (Solids & Bottles) – Finger foods, spoons, practicing independence
  • Storytime & Songs – Language development through books, rhymes, fingerplays
  • Afternoon Nap(s) – Flexible, depending on individual sleep patterns
  • Late Afternoon Play – Soft climbing, ball play, exploration stations
  • Departure – Teachers share highlights, notes, and care updates with families

Notes: Caregivers introduce more opportunities for exploration and social interaction while still maintaining each child’s feeding and sleep schedule.
